1. Cookies and similar storage
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by a website. Similar technologies include local storage, which lets a browser remember information between pages or visits.
Under UK rules, we may use storage that is strictly necessary to provide a service you request, secure the site or complete checkout without asking for consent. Optional analytics, advertising or personalisation storage generally requires a clear choice before it is used.
2. What Plantbrød currently uses
| Category | Purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|
| Account and authentication storage | Keeps you securely signed in, processes confirmation or password-recovery links, and protects member-only account functions through Netlify Identity. | Session or until sign-out/token expiry, depending on the item |
| Security and load-balancing storage | Helps Netlify deliver the site reliably, prevent abuse and route requests securely. | Session or short-lived |
| Checkout and fraud-prevention storage | Allows Stripe Checkout to process payment, remember the checkout session and detect potentially fraudulent activity after you choose to pay. | Session; some Stripe fraud-prevention items may last up to one year |
| Form security | Helps Netlify detect spam and safely process messages submitted through Contact Us. | Session or short-lived |
Exact technical names may change when a service provider updates its security systems. We review this page and our configuration when services change.
3. Third-party services
Netlify
Netlify hosts plantbrod.com and provides authentication and form processing. Essential storage may be used to maintain a secure session and prevent abuse. See Netlify’s Privacy Statement.
Stripe
When you choose secure checkout, you leave or interact with the Plantbrød checkout flow provided by Stripe. Stripe may set cookies on its domains for payment, authentication and fraud prevention. See Stripe’s Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
Links to other websites may take you to services with their own cookie practices. Their notices apply once you visit them.
4. Your browser choices
You can use browser settings to view, delete or block cookies and site data. Blocking all storage may sign you out, stop password-recovery links from completing, prevent forms from submitting or interrupt payment checkout.
Instructions are available from your browser provider. You can also clear site data specifically for plantbrod.com without clearing data for every website.
If we introduce optional analytics or advertising technology, we will update this notice and provide a consent control before setting it where required.
5. Changes and contact
We may update this notice when our website or providers change. The date above shows the latest version.
Questions about cookies or personal information can be sent to account@plantbrod.com. For more detail about our use of personal information, read the Privacy Notice.
