What we collect and why
When you order, we use your name, email, delivery address, order and payment status to take payment, deliver your order, provide support, prevent fraud and meet our legal and accounting obligations. When you create an account, Netlify Identity processes your login email, account name, password credential and authentication data so we can provide account access and link your order history. When you contact us, we use the details in your message to reply and resolve your enquiry.
Payment, identity and hosting providers
Stripe processes payment details and provides secure checkout and customer account management. Netlify hosts this website, provides account authentication, receives contact-form submissions and stores operational order and fulfilment records. We do not receive your full card number or your account password. These providers may process information outside the UK using recognised safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to standard contractual clauses or an applicable UK adequacy regulation.
Information stored in your browser
The site may store essential preferences in your browser, including the cook-along video position under the key pb-video-time. This lets you continue the video from where you stopped. You can remove it using your browser’s site-data controls.
Lawful bases and retention
We process order and account information because it is necessary to perform our contract with you and to comply with legal obligations. We use enquiry and security information for our legitimate interests in customer support and protecting the service. Accounting records are normally kept for the period required by UK tax law. Account, support and operational records are deleted or anonymised when no longer reasonably needed, subject to legal and dispute-resolution requirements.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Marketing
We do not add contact-form users or customers to marketing lists without a separate choice. Any marketing email will include an unsubscribe route.
