Terms and conditions

The useful small print.

These terms explain how Plantbrød orders, deliveries, subscriptions, cancellations and website use work. Nothing here removes your statutory consumer rights.

1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use plantbrod.com or buy physical recipe posters and related goods from Plantbrod AS, trading as Plantbrød (“we”, “us”). Our correspondence and returns address is Plantbrød, Kiln Farm, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, MK11 3EW, United Kingdom. Contact account@plantbrod.com.

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract to place an order or open a purchasing account. Please read the product description, price, delivery information and these terms before ordering.

2. Products, orders and payment

We take reasonable care to display products accurately. Colours and scale may vary between screens, and handmade or small-batch packaging may vary slightly. Dimensions and material details in the product description are the best guide.

Your order is an offer to buy. An automated acknowledgement confirms receipt, not acceptance. A contract forms when we send an order confirmation or dispatch the goods. If we cannot accept an order, we will explain why and refund any amount taken.

Prices are in pounds sterling and include applicable taxes where stated. Standard UK delivery is currently included unless checkout clearly says otherwise. Stripe securely processes payments. You authorise us and Stripe to collect the price shown when you confirm the order.

We may correct an obvious pricing or description error before accepting an order. Promotional codes are subject to their stated conditions, have no cash value and cannot be combined unless we say otherwise.

3. Subscriptions and bundles

Monthly subscription

A monthly plan renews automatically at the price and interval shown at checkout until cancelled. We charge the saved payment method on or around each renewal date. You may cancel future renewals from your account dashboard or by contacting us before the next charge. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not automatically reverse an order already processed or dispatched.

Six-month bundle

A six-month bundle is paid in advance and covers the stated number of monthly poster deliveries. After the statutory cancellation period described below, it is a fixed commitment and is not ordinarily cancellable early, except where goods are faulty, not as described, or another legal right applies.

We will tell you in advance of a material change to the subscription price or service and explain your options. If a recurring payment fails, we may retry it and pause future dispatches while payment remains outstanding.

4. Dispatch and delivery

We currently deliver to United Kingdom addresses. Orders placed before 8pm are normally dispatched the same day using Royal Mail 48, with delivery usually expected within 48–72 hours after dispatch. These are estimates, not guarantees.

Unless we agree otherwise, we will deliver without undue delay and within 30 days. Tell us promptly if an order is late, lost or arrives damaged. Risk passes to you when the goods are delivered to you or a person you nominate. You own the goods once we have received payment in full.

You are responsible for providing an accurate, accessible delivery address. Additional costs caused by an incorrect address may be charged where fair and lawful.

5. Changing your mind: cancellation and returns

Your 14-day cooling-off rightFor most online purchases of our standard physical goods, you may tell us that you wish to cancel within 14 days after the goods are delivered, without giving a reason. You then have another 14 days to send them back.

To cancel, email account@plantbrod.com with your name, order number and a clear statement that you are cancelling, or use the model form below. We will acknowledge your request.

Return goods to Plantbrød, Kiln Farm, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, MK11 3EW. Unless the goods are faulty or we sent the wrong item, you are responsible for return postage. Please use suitable protective packaging and keep proof of posting.

We may reduce a refund to reflect loss in value caused by handling beyond what would reasonably be permitted in a shop. Rolled posters should be returned unmarked and in protective packaging.

We will refund the product price and the cost of our least expensive standard outbound delivery option. We may wait until we receive the goods or evidence that you sent them back. Refunds are made within 14 days after that point, normally to the original payment method.

Any additional voluntary promise displayed at checkout—such as a first-poster satisfaction guarantee—applies alongside, and does not replace, your statutory rights.

6. Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods

Goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for their normal purpose. If an item is faulty, damaged in transit or incorrect, contact us promptly with your order number and, where helpful, photographs. We will offer the remedy required by UK consumer law, which may include replacement, repair, price reduction or refund.

We pay reasonable return costs where goods are faulty or incorrectly supplied. Your statutory rights are not limited by the change-of-mind rules above.

7. Website, recipes and intellectual property

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive right to use the website and purchased recipe posters for private, non-commercial use. Plantbrød branding, illustrations, layouts, text and original recipe presentation are owned by us or our licensors. You may not reproduce, resell, scrape, publish or commercially exploit them without permission.

Recipe and allergen information is provided with reasonable care, but ingredients and manufacturer labels change. Always check packaging and assess individual dietary needs. Children must be appropriately supervised; grown-ups remain responsible for knives, heat, allergens and food safety.

You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, interfere with other users or use the service unlawfully.

8. Liability, changes and governing law

We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, we are not responsible for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the contract formed or for business losses arising from a consumer purchase.

If events beyond our reasonable control delay performance, we will take reasonable steps to minimise the effect and contact you where the delay is material. You may have a right to end the contract if there is a substantial delay.

Each provision operates separately. If a court finds one invalid, the others continue. We may update these terms prospectively; the version accepted when an order was placed governs that order.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you retain any mandatory protections of your home nation and may bring proceedings in the courts available to you.
